Audio-Technica invited fans to design a limited-edition M50x headphone. In 2020, a poll decided the colors. In January 2024, the “LAB M50x” website launched for personalized designs. Ultimately, Brazilian DJ Sergio Gamarra won the competition with his design, earning 3,127 votes.
