Since its release in 2014, the ATH-M50x monitor headphones have been continuously beloved by audio professionals and

music fans all over the world.

While preserving its excellent sound quality, audio-technica have periodically released limited-edition color models to offer special designs.

And now, to commemorate its 10th anniversary, they are introducing the ATH-M50x ENSO,

a 2025 limited model that returns to the classic all-black design. From the main body to the sliders and rings, every detail is finished in black.

"ENSO" is a circle drawn in a single, uninhibited brushstroke in Japanese ink painting (sumi-e).

This motif, symbolizing the cycle of life and perfected beauty,

expresses both the iconic ring design of the ATH-M50x and the product's return to its origin: the color black.

Meticulous Details and a One-of-a-Kind Presence

Engraving Reminiscent of Ink Brushstrokes

The headband sliders and rings feature a special engraving with a motif inspired by sumi-e (ink wash painting) brushstrokes and audio waveforms.

Furthermore, unlike the standard model, every component, down to the sliders and rings, is finished entirely in black.

Individually Serialized

Each pair of matte black headphones is engraved with a unique serial number, making yours a special, one-of-a-kind unit in the world.
