Elegant in form, pure in sound
A fulfilling moment for both the eyes and the ears
The AT-LPA2 turntable harmonizes a strikingly transparent design with a sound that's equally uncolored and pure.
Crafted from acrylic—an ideal material for turntable construction—it offers not only visual clarity but also acoustic benefits,
with a resonance frequency close to that of vinyl records. This helps reduce internal reflections that can compromise sonic clarity.
Built on a low-resonance, high-density 30mm thick acrylic chassis and featuring a robust 20mm thick acrylic platter,
the AT-LPA2 delivers remarkable rotational stability and effective vibration damping.
To further minimize unwanted electrical noise, the control unit and power supply are housed separately, ensuring clean,
interference-free playback that lets your records speak with absolute purity.
The included MC cartridge—AT-OC9XEN—features Audio-Technica's signature dual moving coil design and a solid elliptical stylus,
capturing every nuance of your vinyl with stunning clarity.
The cartridge is mounted on a custom-designed aluminum headshell and paired with a precision-engineered straight tonearm, ensuring accurate groove tracking.
To support a variety of cartridge weights, the tonearm comes with both 110g and 130g counterweights, offering versatile balance and fine-tuning for audiophile setups.
With its refined aesthetics, high-grade components, and meticulous engineering, the AT-LPA2 stands as your gateway into the pure, immersive world of analog audio.
Analog audio—designed to be seen and heard
Crafted with a 30mm-thick, low-resonance, high-density transparent acrylic chassis
Acrylic isn't just visually stunning—it's an ideal structural material for turntables. Its resonance frequency closely matches that of vinyl records,
helping reduce unwanted reflections that can compromise sonic clarity. The result is a purer, more transparent listening experience.
● Equipped with a 20mm-thick transparent acrylic platter for stable rotation
The platter is precisely weighted to maintain consistent rotational speed, ensuring smooth playback.
Its excellent stability and vibration-damping properties contribute to a clean, uncolored sound that brings out the true character of analog music.
● Isolated power and control circuits to minimize noise interference
To reduce unwanted electrical noise, the power supply and control unit are housed in separate enclosures.
This effectively isolates the sensitive components of the turntable from potential interference, ensuring clean and accurate audio reproduction.
● Optical sensor feedback for precise and stable platter rotation
An optical sensor beneath the spindle detects rotational speed in real time.
The control unit then drives a high-precision DC motor, ensuring consistently accurate speed during playback.
● Belt-drive turntable supporting both 33 and 45 RPM
Supports 33-1/3 and 45 RPM playback speeds with excellent accuracy, accommodating a wide range of vinyl records.
● Includes AT-OC9XEN MC cartridge for detailed and expressive playback
Bundled with the AT-OC9XEN moving coil cartridge, which features Audio-Technica's signature dual moving coil design, a solid elliptical stylus,
and high-purity PCOCC coils. It offers exceptional channel separation and low distortion, capturing even the subtlest musical nuances.
*Note: MC cartridges output a lower signal than MM or VM types and require a step-up transformer or a phono preamp with MC input support.

● Custom-machined aluminum headshell exclusive to the AT-LPA2
The included MC cartridge is mounted on a precision-machined aluminum headshell designed specifically for the AT-LPA2,
enhancing structural rigidity and vibration resistance for optimal audio performance.
● Straight-design tonearm engineered for superior tracking and stability
The straight tonearm features a lightweight yet highly rigid carbon fiber construction.
Its custom design allows for smooth and accurate groove tracking, delivering precise and stable vinyl playback.
● Precision-adjustable thread-suspension anti-skate mechanism
To ensure highly accurate tonearm movement, the AT-LPA2 features a newly developed thread-suspension anti-skate mechanism.
By minimizing inward tracking force on the cartridge, it enhances tracking performance and improves overall sound quality.
● Dual counterweights for compatibility with heavy cartridges
The AT-LPA2 includes two counterweights—110g and 130g—allowing precise balance and compatibility with a wide range of cartridge weights.

● Large machined aluminum insulators minimize howling and external vibrations
The turntable features oversized machined aluminum insulators with built-in damping rubber.
These insulators firmly support the chassis while isolating it from unwanted external vibrations, resulting in cleaner, more stable audio reproduction.
