The ATH-M50xSTS is a headset designed specifically for streamers and content creators: the "StreamSet™".
Based on the professional monitor headphones ATH-M50x, beloved by studio engineers worldwide, it incorporates Audio-Technica's legendary AT20-series microphone technology. Equipped with 45mm large-aperture drivers, it delivers clear sound with deep, accurate bass across a wide frequency range. Additionally, it comes with two types of earpads: mesh for breathability and comfort, and leather for the signature ATH-M50x sound quality and isolation.
What sets the ATH-M50xSTS apart is its microphone performance. Featuring a superior Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratio and low distortion, it delivers crystal-clear audio. The flexible boom arm houses a cardioid (unidirectional) large-diaphragm condenser capsule inherited from the AT20 series. The microphone remains close to the mouth regardless of head movement, optimized for ideal vocal capture. This setup suppresses background noise and ensures high-resolution, studio-quality output. Furthermore, the microphone can be quickly muted by simply flipping the boom arm up.
