A year later, FIIO is finally ready to present its all-new portable CD player to everyone.

The DM15 R2R embodies the latest achievements of FIIO's independent research and deep expertise in CD technology. It not only further "slims down" compared to the DM13's size but also integrates five core designs. It combines the analog tone of traditional portable CD players with rich modern features. With class-defying configurations, unique functions, easy operation, and exquisite texture, this is FIIO's all-new masterpiece.

Five-Core Design, Comprehensive Dimensional Upgrade

The DM15 R2R achieves a breakthrough combination of smaller size and stronger configuration. It adopts a five-core design within a portable footprint: CD Servo, USB DAC, R2R module, and Bluetooth module each perform their respective duties, finally coordinated and controlled by an independent MCU. Core evolution, comprehensive upgrade, breaking through the competitiveness of products in the same class.

Restoring Analog Tone, Unique Charm
Self-Developed Fully Differential Complementary 24Bit R2R Resistor Array DAC

To restore the classic sound of traditional portable CD players, the DM15 R2R utilizes FIIO's self-developed four-way fully differential complementary 24Bit R2R resistor array DAC. Consisting of 48 resistors per channel—totaling 192 precision thin-film resistors with 0.1% accuracy and low temperature drift (30ppm) across four channels—it delivers a natural, warm, and delicate analog flavor.

Custom CD Mechanism
Stable Disc Reading

In the year since the DM13's release, its disc-reading performance has undergone several upgrades and optimizations, showing significant improvement. The DM15 R2R continues to evolve upon this foundation. Heavy investments were made to customize parts of the mechanism molds, adopting a self-rebounding steel ball design that makes inserting and removing discs much smoother and less likely to scratch them.

*The disc-reading capability of the DM15 R2R is on par with the new firmware version of the DM13.
*Due to the structural limitations of portable mechanisms, perfect reading of all CDs cannot be guaranteed. We will continue to optimize disc reading performance through future firmware upgrades.
*Due to differences in mechanisms, disc materials, and recording environments, minor frame skipping when reading a small number of high-capacity CDs is normal.

Hi-Fi Grade USB Sound Card, Outstanding Decoding

The USB sound card function—long awaited, now delivered. While ensuring CD sound quality and device compatibility, the DM15 R2R achieves Hi-Fi grade USB sound card functionality, supporting high sampling rates of 384kHz/32bit and DSD256. Paired with the R2R circuit, the USB DAC output also possesses great musical charm.

High-End Qualcomm Bluetooth Chip
Easy Connection, Upgraded Experience

A modern take on retro, featuring dual advancements in function and experience. Equipped with the Qualcomm QCC3095 Bluetooth chip, it supports aptX / aptX Adaptive / aptX HD / SBC high-res Bluetooth transmission. Both CD and USB inputs support Bluetooth transmission, while the new visual interface makes Bluetooth device pairing and connection clear at a glance.

*Differences exist in Bluetooth protocols among some brands. Please ensure the desired Bluetooth codec is set on the receiving end before connecting.
